HISTORY OF THE GOLDEN EAGLE AWARDS

* The Golden Eagle Awards Ceremony was established in 1970.

* The Golden Eagle Awards is not a competitive awards ceremony, but a celebration and recognition of individuals whose work fulfills Nosotros' mission, as well as, companies who have provided opportunities and employment to Latinos/Hispanics in the Performing Arts.

* The Golden Eagle Awards is Nosotros’ annual fundraisingl event. 90% of funds generated helps support Nosotros’ community service programs (please see Program Link).

* Nosotros is a self-sustaining, financially independent, and viable arts organization.
