Kick Off the Nosotros American Latino Film Festival
Ricardo Montalbán and Nosotros,
a 501c(3) non-profit organization present the 2006
Nosotros American Latino
Film Festival (NALFF) August 24th to the
27th in the epicenter of the entertainment community
at the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre
located at 1615 N. Vine St., Hollywood, Ca, 90028.
The festive event will showcase the work of American
Latino filmmakers and will offer free entertainment
industry workshops, panel discussions, a high school
filmmaker's showcase, educational programs, networking
receptions, and live entertainment. The event is open
to the general public and all films are presented
in English.
DIVERSITY / LATIN ENTERTAINMENT SUMMIT (Free
Event)
Thursday, August 24th
Various topics regarding diversity in TV and film
will be explored during panel discussions. Hear what
TV networks and film companies have to say about the
future of Latinos and other underrepresented minorities
in TV and Film.

HIGH SCHOOL FILMMAKERS FORUM (Free
Event)
Friday, August 25th
11:00am - 4:00pm
High school filmmakers will walk the red carpet in
Hollywood! Watch their films showcased alongside some
of today's most celebrated Latino filmmakers, on the
big screen! Select projects from the programs include:
Echo Park Film Center, Washington Prep High School,
and the South East Student Film Festival. The event
is presented by The Walt Disney Company. A private
reception with the high school filmmakers and festival
participants is sponsored by Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Hosted by Nachin of Latino 96.3fm Radio.

The competitive festival brings together the best
Latino filmmakers in the country. Each day will showcase
feature films, documentaries, short films and music
videos. Feature films include:
